FIMC (Financial Insurance Management Corporation) was established in 1974 to offer innovative products through financial institutions.
As the financial industries evolved, demand continually surfaced for new products to meet the changing needs of consumers. Working closely with his financial clients to understand the needs of their members, Doug Libertore, its President, identified a number of products and maintained a trusted role for FIMC as a versatile and consistent source of revenue for its partners.
Mr. Libertore is credited with pioneering a new concept of non-credit/ancillary insurance sales through financial institutions. By working with his clients and state financial institution regulators, he was able to achieve state by state approvals to market these new products all across America.
In 1991, Scott Libertore joined FIMC and worked his way through the ranks to become President and CEO. Scott brought a fresh approach to sales and marketing that enabled FIMC to maintain consistent growth and in the recent economic turbulence, position the company to offer a new and market-right portfolio of products and services for a number of sectors, including financial institutions, trade associations, employee groups, credit unions and automotive aftermarket retailers.
